The Norwegian food and beverages industry is Norway’s second largest industrial sector. Companies mainly process Norwegian agricultural and fisheries products. The industry’s structure is to a large extent influenced by agricultural-policy and fishing-policy regulations. Norway possesses one of the highest GDP per-capita in the world, and also ranking high in respect of being among the best countries to live in. At the same time, cost of living is one of the highest.

Safe food is at the core of everything we do, and we are certified by Det Norske Veritas according to the GFSI standard FSSC 22000 and the quality standard ISO 22000. We focus on sustainability, environment and social procurement, and have submitted Climate accountability reports since 2022. Solar panels at the factory produces 40% of total yearly energy consumption.
